Thomas A. Grier
Mr. Grier concentrates his practice on municipal, land use, civil litigation, and real estate law. He has represented several municipalities in northwest Michigan. Mr. Grier’s municipal practice has included zoning, Michigan tax tribunal hearings, and ordinance enforcement litigation.
Mr. Grier earned his law degree from the University of Detroit, where he was a member of the The University of Detroit Law Review, his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and a Masters Degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi. He is the co-author of several legal articles addressing the use of conservation easements in Northern Michigan.
